Mission Systems RCS / Main Engine Ignition Components

The Mission Systems TRL 7 Ignition Assemblies for Aerospace rocket ignition system

Mission Ignition Systems proposal system tested, qualified and validated TRL 7 system for LOX / Liquid Methane and Liquid Propane use in repeatable RCS and Main Engine rocket ignition systems.

System evolved from concept to working prototype, and is continually being improved on to acheive TLR9 status with partners.

First generation components delivered to NASA have exceeded expectations and results from several other design concepts such as laser, CDI, peizu electric, microwave and chemical for repeatable combustion in harsh environments.

Mission Systems (formerly WeaponX Performance Products) is deeply involved in all aspects of ignition solutions worldwide and is adding to our extensive knowledgebase with compressed fuels and oxidizers using our electronic control systems.

Mission Systems is involved in amasing an incredible amount of ignition data to add from over 25 years of operation and are actively working on data acquisition for our generation 4, and 5 electronics to deliver improved results in future iterations.

Testing and development alongside several aerospace agencies further re enforce understanding in extreme condition, and harsh environment operation, including -273 to +240 degree environments, in combination with 30 TOR environments, with already difficult to ignite fuel sources.

Our new NeXT coil lineups are poised to complete space readiness within the next two years for resale for complete aerospace use.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Production of TRL 7 components require weeks of development, support, and assembly by our dedicated engineers. As a result Mission Systems can only accomodate a small percentage of aerospace companies for design and testing purposes. Contact us for openings in development.

Design is optimized for the specific needs of each customer. Overall system efficiency is cumulative, including several factors such as leakage loss and q factor. These sum up most of the important variables such as hysterisis loss, impedance loss, resistance, copper and core loss, skin effect loss, etc.
